Submission Guidelines

#1. Preparing Your Manuscript

Authors are expected to follow the Author Guidelines before submitting their manuscript. Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English or Bahasa Indonesia, and follow the template provided by the journal.

Each submission must include:

  • A title page (with author details) uploaded separately.
  • A blinded manuscript (no author names or affiliations).
  • A list of references formatted according to the journal style.
  • Ethical approval statement (if applicable).
  • Declaration of conflict of interest (if applicable).

#2. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through our online submission system at Submission Page. First-time users must Register or Login before submitting. Upon submission, authors will receive an automated email confirming receipt of the manuscript. All communication regarding the manuscript status will be conducted via the registered email address.

#3. Peer Review Process

All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review, meaning both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the review process. The steps are as follows:

  • Initial editorial screening for scope, completeness, and formatting.
  • Blind review by at least two independent reviewers.
  • Editorial decision (acceptance, minor/major revision, or rejection).
  • Author revision (if required).
  • Final decision and copyediting.
  • The average turnaround time from submission to first decision is 6-8 weeks.

#4. Revision and Resubmission

If revisions are requested, authors must:

  • Authors are expected to revise their manuscript according to the comments provided by the reviewers and editors.
  • The revised manuscript must be submitted within the time limit stated in the decision letter.
  • Authors must clearly explain the revisions made and how each reviewer comment was addressed.
  • This explanation can be submitted through:
    • The comment section during the revision upload process in OJS, or
    • An optional response document uploaded as part of the revision files.
  • Failure to respond within the stated period may result in the manuscript being archived or rejected.

By submitting to this journal, authors agree to the journal’s copyright and licensing policy as described in the Copyright and License section. All articles published in this journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits:

  • Use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium,
  • For any purpose, including commercial use,
  • As long as proper credit is given to the original author(s) and the source.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

#6. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • Submission Fee: Free (There is no charge for submitting a manuscript).
  • Publication Fee: IDR 100,000 / approximately USD 6.50 (applied only if the manuscript is accepted).
  • Additional Fees: None (No extra charges for color figures, supplementary materials, or online access).
