Crossmark Policy

All articles published in Tarbiyah: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan dan Pengajaran undergo a thorough peer review before publication. Each accepted article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and published permanently as part of the journal’s scholarly record.

The journal participates in the Crossmark initiative, a multi-publisher effort that allows readers to verify the current status and version of an article. The Crossmark logo on each article provides quick access to check whether the article is the latest version or has been updated.

Correction / Erratum

If errors are identified that do not affect the main integrity or conclusions of the article, an official correction document will be issued and linked to the original article. The correction clearly specifies the parts that were amended.

Retraction

Articles may be retracted for any of the following reasons:

  • Data fabrication or manipulation
  • Plagiarism
  • Duplicate publication
  • Serious ethical violations
  • Major errors affecting the validity of findings

Retracted articles remain accessible to maintain the scholarly record, but are clearly labeled as “Retracted.” The retraction notice explains the reason and the party requesting the retraction.

Expression of Concern

If there are serious concerns regarding an article but the investigation is incomplete or evidence is inconclusive, the journal may issue an Expression of Concern linked to the article.

Article Versions and Updates

Published articles are considered the final version after completing peer review and editorial processes. All post-publication updates are carried out through official mechanisms (correction, retraction, metadata updates) and do not alter the original content directly.
