Tarbiyah: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan dan Pengajaran publishes original research articles and critical scholarly works in the field of Islamic education.
The journal welcomes manuscripts that have not been previously published and that employ any of these approaches:
- Quantitative

- Mixed-method
Scope of the Journal
The scope covers studies on Islamic education from early childhood education to higher education, including but not limited to these areas:
- Teaching and learning processes and practices
- Strategies, methods, and innovations in Islamic Religious Education (IRE)
- Design, development, and evaluation of Islamic education curricula
- Assessment and evaluation of learning
- Pesantren education and Islamic religious education institutions
- Policy and management of Islamic education
- Contemporary issues in Islamic education
- Professional development of teachers and educational practitioners
