Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Tarbiyah: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan dan Pengajaran is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. We follow international guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and uphold transparency and academic integrity.
Authors' Rights and Responsibilities
- Authors are fully responsible for the originality, quality, and accuracy of their manuscripts.
- Manuscripts must not have been published previously and must not be under consideration elsewhere.
- All third-party sources must be properly cited, and permissions obtained if required.
- All authors who have made a significant contribution must be listed; ghost or gift authorship is prohibited.
Plagiarism and Scientific Misconduct
- All manuscripts are screened internally (e.g., Turnitin) to ensure originality.
- Plagiarism, data fabrication, or result manipulation is not tolerated.
- Any ethical violations may result in rejection or retraction of the article.
Conflicts of Interest
- Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose potential conflicts of interest, financial or otherwise.
- Editors ensure that conflicts do not influence editorial decisions.
Reviewers and Editorial Board
- Reviewers are selected independently and must maintain manuscript confidentiality.
- The Editorial Board adheres to COPE standards, ensures objective review, and recuses reviewers with conflicts of interest.
Handling Ethical Violations
If an ethical violation is discovered, editors have the right to take action, including rejecting, delaying, or retracting the publication. Authors will have the opportunity to respond before a final decision is made.
